JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for creating and increasing customer value through establishing long term relationships that lead to increased overall sales and profitability for the company.  This role will support Purchasing through the oversight of Terex Lift Replacement Parts sales.

 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Develop and maintain positive customer relationships by serving customer needs.
  • Develop new ideas that will help improve company image, sales and operations.
  • Provide pricing, quotes, and credit terms to customers.
  • Collect, analyze and share market information regarding competitors, products, pricing, and trends.
  • Complete special parts orders and process invoices for customer
  • Use Terex Replacement Parts system to order all sales
  • Assist customers in determining what part they need based on the issue they are experiencing

  • Must be computer proficient and have knowledge of Microsoft Suite
  • Successful candidate will have strong organizational skills
  • Outgoing and friendly personality required
  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment (both independently and as a team player).

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven track record of generating new business sales.
  • Ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
  • Excellent sales, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
  • Ability to create a positive, safe and healthy work environment.
  • Must be driven to exceed.
  • Previous parts sales experience in heavy equipment industry (Terex, Versalift, etc.) preferred.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS In addition to being able to sit, stand, walk, read, talk, write, type on a computer, and answer phone to perform the essential functions of this job an individual must be able to do the following additional activities: Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
