Summary:
As an integral part of UOS, the individual in this role will oversee day-to–day vehicle sales, rentals, assembly, service and parts operations at the site and is accountable for the achievement of budgeted revenue and profit objectives for a geographic territory. He/she is responsible for ensuring the site follows the UOS standards and operating models and will regularly monitor performance from an execution and customer satisfaction perspective. Additionally, working with Human Resources, this role will help identify, recruit, train and retain experienced and exceptional personnel including managers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Work with UOS National & Local Sales and Rental Management to develop the Sales and Marketing goals, strategies, and high-level tactics for the Site/Region (generally within a 150 mile radius of the site).
• Develop the work plans to support the Sale and Rental Goals and Strategies for The Site/ Region.
• Work with UOS Executive VP of Manufacturing (and his national organization) to develop the goals, strategies and high-level tactics related to Assembly Operations at Site.
• Develop the work plans to support the Assembly Goals and Strategies.
• Work with UOS Product Directors to develop goals, strategies, and high-level tactics for the Site/Region.
• Develop the work plans to support the Aftermarket Service and Parts Goals and Strategies for The Site/ Region.
• Work with HR to create the necessary organizational structures, recruit, interview and hire the personnel required to operate all functional departments and administrative functions at the Site.
• Work with the Regional HR Director to execute the necessary training programs at the site to continuously improve the performance of the individuals hired at the Site.
• Oversee day-to–day Sales, Rental, Assembly, Service and Part Operations at the site (Full P&L responsibilities).
• Be part of the personal and organizational relationships established with customers in the region.
• Ensure financial information re site performance is prepared, available and in compliance with UOS financial policies and reporting requirements.

Profile:

Ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of work experience on the service/aftermarket side of vocational truck or other vehicle industries. He/she will understand first hand what service work entails and how this work must be managed to achieve superior customer satisfaction. He/she will be comfortable in a matrix management structure and able to influence from the top and from the sides. The candidate should be results oriented and well organized, with strong quantitative skills and moderate to high EQ.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year College or university preferred

Experience:
5 + years' experience managing an equipment dealership or aftermarket service site.
10 + years' experience working in a service/aftermarket, customer-facing site for vocational trucks or construction equipment.
